Third-place finish in Attica Ambush opener

Taking part in the Labor Day weekend doubleheader, MAR Motorsports and Jordan Ryan visited Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) on Friday evening for the Attica Ambush. (SprintFun photo)

In a stout field of 34 410 Sprints, Ryan clocked in seventh-fastest overall before picking up a heat race win over Tylar Rankin. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Jordan was mounting a late charge on race-leader Tim Shaffer but an untimely caution costed him. He ended up third, trailing Shaffer and D.J. Foos to the checkers.

After starting Saturday night off with a heat race victory, Jordan ran into motor issues early in the feature that sidelined him for the remainder of the weekend.
